Waterfront Kitchen Refresh in Perdido Key, FL
This kitchen update in a beautiful Perdido Key, Florida waterfront home shows how impactful a simple, well-planned refresh can be. The homeowners were happy with their existing layout but wanted taller cabinets and an overall upgrade in cabinet quality, without the disruption of a full renovation.
Working with designer Dana Muck, the Cabinet Depot team focused on thoughtful improvements while keeping the project efficient and minimally intrusive. The kitchen features Shaker-style cabinetry in two complementary finishes—Concord on the main wall cabinets and Granite Peak on the island and liquor cabinet—adding contrast while maintaining a clean, coastal feel.
A custom-depth tall pantry with built-in rollouts enhances storage and everyday functionality. To preserve elements the homeowners already loved, the existing countertops were carefully removed and reinstalled, helping reduce both cost and construction time.
The result is a bright, functional kitchen that feels refreshed and intentional—proof that meaningful updates don’t always require a full teardown.
